We all want our grandkids to be confident. Confidence is a belief that you can rely on something or someone. But the question is confidence in what or in who? Ultimately, our grandkids need to put their confidence in God. He’s the only person, one who can always be trusted.
Our God confidence has developed over time as we experience God’s faithfulness. But experience is something our grandkids don’t have yet. That’s why it’s our job to tell our grandkids what he has done for us. As they hear our stories of God’s faithfulness, our grandkids will understand why they can depend on him, too, until they gain their own God confidence.
